Hope Orphanage stands as a vital beacon of light for children weathering the harshest storms of life—early marriages, broken families, abandonment, and the devastating shadow of alcoholism. Working hand-in-hand with our local community and church family, we extend the hands and feet of Christ to provide tender care and support. The frequent requests we receive to shelter abandoned children only underscore how deeply needed this ministry is. It is a sacred calling, offering a brighter future and a living hope to those who need it most.

From Desperation to Devotion: A Journey of Renewal

We are reminded of the profound impact of this ministry when we look at one of our young ones. Before arriving here, this sweet child endured unimaginable hardships, losing both parents and resorting to drinking water mixed with mud just to stave off the pangs of hunger.

But God had a plan for renewal. Found and brought into our refuge, our dedicated team wrapped this child in care, providing nourishment for the body and crucial medical treatments for healing. Today, we witness a beautiful transformation: a journey out of utter desperation and into a life filled with love, dignity, and support. This child’s story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and a living testimony of how God’s compassion, working through us, can rewrite a child’s future.

In our existing facility, we faithfully provide the daily bread of essential services—nourishing food, safe lodging, and foundational education—to every child entrusted to our care.

The Challenges Before Us

While the Lord has blessed our impact, we face a sobering reality: there are many more orphans still waiting outside our doors. Our limited resources currently hinder our ability to welcome more children into our family, and balancing our daily operational costs remains a constant, heavy challenge.

• A Place to Call Home (Bigger Space): We are praying for a larger facility to accommodate more children comfortably. Our deep aspiration is to purchase land to establish a permanent shelter. Renting apartments has brought instability, and having our own sacred ground would ensure long-term peace and security for these children.

• A Place to Learn (On-Site School): We pray to establish our own school on-site, ensuring every child receives a quality education rooted in care.

• Holistic Healing (Other Crucial Needs): We lift up prayers for consistent healthcare, deep emotional support, and vocational training so that these children may grow holistically into the men and women God created them to be.
